We had another out of town visitor today in the 9:30AM today: his name is Scott and he's from Philly. Scott arrived a little early to class, and this link is inspired by a conversation we were having about Paleo before class. He's been doing CrossFit since February when he started eating Paleo and was discussing his strength gains, weight loss, and how much better he feels eating under Paleo guidelines. One of the things that came up in our conversation was that not everyone understands these eating choices, and I expressed that often times, other folks comment on my nutrition as though I am literally depriving myself of all happiness in life because I choose not to eat bread/grains/cereal all time. I feeling is that I'm actually depriving myself of feeling like crap, because even though I LOVE cake (I'm serious. Love. White cake, chocolate cake, carrot cake, tres leches cake - that one's the best - yellow cake, CUPCAKES....) when I'm done eating it, that's how I feel : like crap.
