Updated Safety Measures for COVID-19

Safety+Update.jpg

The safety and well-being of our community members continues to be our top priority. With continued reports of COVID-19 cases throughout Houston, the Harris County Judge has issued an order that will go into effect on Monday, June 22nd.

Beginning on Monday, a facial covering will be required to enter and exit the facility, and any time that you need to move outside of your designated workout area. While in your workout box, and effectively distanced from one another, you have the option to remove your mask.

Please note that we will need to remain vigilant in our other safety measures, which are still in effect:

  1. If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms including fever, cough, or difficulty breathing, or have potentially been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, please STAY HOME.

  2. The doors to the gym will open 5 minutes before the start of class. Members will wait outside/in their cars until the doors open.

  3. Upon entering the building and sanitizing hands, members will go directly to a workout station until the start of class.

  4. Warmups and workouts will be designed so each member can use their own equipment.

  5. There will be no sharing of equipment during class.

  6. Each member will be provided a workout station.  These will be sectioned off so members are always at least 6 feet apart.

  7. Each workout station will have equipment provided for the class. This includes cleaning supplies.

  8. There will be no gathering at the whiteboard. Instead, members will remain in their workout stations while a coach explains the workout to the group.

  9. Members will properly disinfect every piece of equipment used during the class.

  10. Classes times have been adjusted to avoid overlap between classes.

  11. We ask that members please not dwell more than 5 minutes before or after class inside the building to reduce congestion.

  12. Members will be asked to leave unnecessary belongings at home or in their car. Belongings (i.e. bags, keys, phones, etc.) will be placed in member’s designated workout station.

  13. To reduce the use of common areas, water fountains, changing rooms, and communal chalk buckets will be off limits.

  14. Members will be asked to bring their own workout towels.

Thank you for respecting these policies and helping us do our part in reducing the spread of this virus.

Additionally, we understand that not everyone will feel comfortable attending classes at this time. Remember that we have the option of the Limited Equipment Membership, which includes 1) the ability to borrow our equipment, and 2) programming that you can do at home.
