How much water should I be drinking?
This month is the gallon challenge: one gallon of water each day during the month of may. As the temperature gets warmer, it will be more and more important to consume LOTS of water…but how much is enough? The general rule is half your body weight in ounces. That means that if you weight 200 lbs, you need to consume 100 ounces of water during the day.

This rule does not take into account water lost due to workout sweat. In Houston where the temperature is hot and the air is humid, the amount of water you lose to workout sweat can be more than you might realize. We're talking 2 quarts for some people! The best way to figure out how much you're sweating out is to weight yourself before and right after your WOD. For every pound that you've lost, drink another 24 ounces of water throughout your day. Looks like it's time to invest in a water bottle, folks….
