The email sent out this evening:
Dear CFCH Family,
This place has grown so much more than we could have ever imagined, and we couldn't be happier with the amazing community of people gathered here! We are at a point now where our class times are getting consistently full, and this is a great problem to have! Originally, we felt that temporarily discontinuing new memberships was our only option to maintain a high quality service as well as make sure that everyone is able to utilize the membership that they've purchased.
However, in light of Phil leaving his full time position, we feel like we have a new and better option! We're going to add a new class. This new class will be a CrossFit Endurance class that will incorporate running, rowing, bodyweight movements, kettlebells, dumbells, slamballs and medicine balls. The class will meet in front of our building and will be held OUTDOORS.
The Endurance class will be held Monday and Wednesday at 5AM, 6AM, 5:30PM and 6:30PM; as well as on Friday at 5AM, 6AM, 4:30PM and 5:30PM. You can look for these class times beginning next week on the Mindbody schedule.
This will allow us to go back to running a regular OnRamp every two weeks and accepting new memberships. If you have friends and family who are interested in trying out CrossFit, Free Trial class times will be 9:30AM, 4:30PM and both Saturday classes. Bring them on in because we're back on with taking on new athletes!
In addition, we will be changing up our Saturday schedule. Beginning in September, we will have an 8AM and 9AM CrossFit class, and an Open Gym format from 10-12. Open gym means that you can come in and do whatever you want: work on skills, do a WOD that you've always wanted to try, catch up on strength that you missed out on during the week, or just meet up with friends to do work. There will be no formal WOD/class format, but a coach will be on hand to help with whatever you need.
Thank you so much for your patience as we've tried to figure this whole thing out. We're doing our best to meet everyone's needs, but if you have any questions, or suggestions, please feel free to reach out to us!
