If you're interested in learning more about the handstand pushup, and in progressions to move toward a better handstand pushup, videos by Carl Paoli and gymnasticswod.com are a great place to start! Here's Carl's HSPU progression, part 1 (there is also a part 2, and a progression for strict HSPU) that is a great place to begin if you're already comfortable being upside down. If you're still uncomfortable being in an inverted position, then forward rolls (like in the Thursday warm-up!) and scaled HSPU with your knees on a box are your best bet until you're ready to try these progressions.
