I love the Open. The Open can be for anyone, no matter what level of CrossFitter you are....the difference simply becomes your goal. There are some people who might initially assume that a score of 35 on today's WOD was a failure. That's just because they don't know the story behind it. We had several folks today get their first double under, and do an ENTIRE workout with double unders in it. Doing something that that you never thought you could do? Doing something that you've never done before? No one would call that a failure. That's cause for celebration! Cause to be proud of yourself! Entering the Open doesn't necessarily mean that you think you're ready for Regionals or the CrossFit Games. It doesn't even mean that you're trying to compete with anyone else. It means that you're putting yourself out there to see what you can do. To see if you can surprise yourself, and see how hard you can push yourself.
