Each year, CrossFit boxes around the world gather on Memorial Day to honor our veterans by doing a WOD named after LT. Michael P. Murphy, called "Murph." If you've seen the movie "Lone Survivor," then you know the story of Mike Murphy and his heroics. "Murph" was created in his honor and consists of a 1 mile run, 100 pull ups, 200 push ups, 300 air squats, and another 1 mile run.....all done with a 20# weight vest.
On Monday, May 25th, we will have one class at 9AM to do Memorial Day "Murph." Of course, movements and reps can and will be scaled as necessary. We will not have weight vests on hand for you to use, so if that's something you'd like to try, then you'll need to acquire your own. Join us in remembering America's veterans through this challenging, and meaningful WOD.
